if you look hard enough, you can take any song made in the past ten years and relate at least the main riff if not more to many other songs that came before.i've heard becks "loser" ripped off.pearl jam has been ripped off.even hinder (who is from my home town)thier style i just heard on the radio today by one of those new up and coming bands.face it man,in most cases music you hear now has been done AT LEAST once in history before.and it is irritating when its one of your favorites bein ripped.
Look... I love both songs.. I'm a musician, specifically a bass player. I've played YGW many times. I learned the bass line to this for a jam thing I'm doing with a friend. I'm a decent 6 stringer as well. The two songs have very little in common except they both rock and have similar tempos. BTW, the rest of the Finger 11 CD is not anywhere near the quality of this tune.
ok if u think that this anything like youth gone wild. heh ur funny. maybe u should actually listen to the studio versions for both and open ur ears a little bit as well
I could only get as far as one minute into the video before having to turn the damned thing off. While there may be a very loose, tenuous, vague connection between the two songs, Finger11's song IS the superior song, and if they took anything from Skid Row's song Sebastian Bach should get down on his knees and thank Finger11 for it, because it could only improve upon what is an otherwise forgettable (hopefully) piece of work. "Youth Gone Wild" is an artistic abortion.
