Jemi in the Real World Ep 5 :"My Bestfriends, The JoBros"2/2

After a few minutes, I was called to go backstage to get ready. Im gonna introduce the Jonas Brothers. Im excited but a little bit nervous, I guess. I dont really want to look unprepared onstage, so I really need to get myself ready and memorize my lines. I continue walking towards the backstage. They gave me the script right after.

By this time I dont need any distractions as possible. I sat down at a corner where I can fully focus myself on memorizing.

"Hello beautiful!"

His excited voice startled me. I jumped in horror. Not totally aware of his presence and how he showed up infront of me all of a sudden. I thought I just had a heart attack!

"OhGod!" I freaked out and looked up at him.

"What? did I scare you again?" Joe asked grinning.

"Not really."--turning on my sarcasm--"I just almost had a heart attack there." still exasperated. I cant calm myself. Ugh.

He lowered his head and looked at my eyes. "Im sorry."

I've calmed myself down weirdly the second I heard his sincere, serene voice. It was so automatic. I felt so relieved.

I stood up from my sit and hugged him. A friendly hug, I suppose. Im about to pull away but he held me tighter for another 3 seconds. I didn't mind so I hugged back again and giggled.

"How did you get here?"

I heard him laugh with me. I felt warm with his arms tightened around me. It made me blush hardly. I'm kinda enjoying the moment so far. I giggled once more, then after a few more seconds, he pulled away. And for a record breaking, that was our longest hug. Yet.

"Well. I'm Superman!" he bragged out suddenly posing like superman.

"No you're not." I challenged laughing.

I saw him frown but not very convincing. "Of course Im superman. Just say it."

"Please.." he continue pleading, wearing those puppy dog eyes. Oh those eyes again! He needs to stop torturing me with those.

"Oh that look won't work on me anymore." I lied crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow. As much as I want to, I just can't stop smiling and giggling.

"Ooh.. You're mean." he complained. Pouting.

"No, Im not. Im a good girl." I countered laughing.

I heard him laugh too then slowly he's happy face turned into a serious one. "Hey.. I.."

He stuttered and I got worried. "What Joe?"

"I miss you." he mumbled almost whispering as he looked away to hide his face.

He has no idea how much I miss him too.

"Come again.. please." I challenged him innocently, gaining my strength back and raising an eyebrow. I want to hear it one more time. but this time, i want him to look at me straight in the eyes. I wish he would.

He turned his face to me and his soft brown eyes met mine, "I miss you."

I think I'm gonna faint, really! His eyes are torturing me. I almost forgot about everything. Common Demi, Breathe! Ok, here I go.

"Aaaww.. I missed you too"

"really?! do you mean that?"

"Ofcourse" I punched his arms playfully.

He laughed and then stared at me for a long moment.

"but you know, It's not that long since we last saw each other." I broke the silence.

"Yeah." he laughed.

"So.. do you want to see my brothers? they're just over there." he continued while pointing to a door few feet away.

"Sure."

I walked with him to the room where they are rehearsing and saw Nick and Kevin.

"Demi!", Kevin rushed to me and hugged me. I hugged him back and giggled. He looked so excited.

"Hey Demi.", Nick came up and hugged me too. I miss these boys. My brothers.

"It's been awhile since we saw each other. How are you doing?", Kevin asked.

"I've been working on my show, Sonny with a Chance lately."

"Same here. We've just started filming J.O.N.A.S."

"Cool! Well, goodluck with that! Im sure everybody will gon' love your show."

"Of course, because Im one of the main characters!" Joe bragged out suddenly.

I saw Kevin shook his head "Joe.. Joe.. Joe.."

I giggle when Joe glared at his older brother.

"Well, anyway, we have to get ready" Kevin continued.

"I guess so." Joe nodded looking down.

"So Demi, we'll hang out with you later." Kevin tapped my shoulders.

I nodded. "sure. No problem."

Kevin and Nick walked away, leaving mr.Danger beside me.

"Im sorry..." Joe said frowning. Still looking down.

"it's ok, Joe. You have to rehearse, I dont want you to mess up later." I giggled.

"If you're going to watch me then I wont mess up." he promised.

"Im sure you won't, Joe."

"Well, don't mess up with your lines too." he chuckled.

I smiled at him. I hesitated to walk out of the room. I dont want to leave. But I have to, so I did.

I sat again at a corner and practiced my lines. After a few minutes, I was called out to introduce the brothers. I nodded and head up to the stage.
