The battle of Agincourt is reconstructed using the superb graphical models from Sega's Medieval Total War II. This battle was among the most pivotal of the 100 years war between France and England and once again proved that English archery was a deadly, underappreciated foe to the French forces.
@kenjones29 True, few people remember that the Welsh were the real masters of the bow.

@kenjones29 True - a Welsh Captain was sent to recce the French army and when he got back Henry asked him how many are there? He replied "Enough to kill, enough to take prisoner and enough to put to flight!"

The terrain that is portayed in this video is NOT consistant with the actual battle field. The area around Azincort is not mountainous with large douglas fir trees(Timestamp=1:40). Otherwise this is a good video.

@yackmcguire Not surprising considering the population and land-size difference; 1415, England-3Mil, France-15Mil.

Through military might alone England would have lost the war, no doubt about that, i believe John of Gaunt was the first person to admit that England couldn't win. This would also explain why Edward III was willing to drop his claim to the French throne for an extended version of Aquitaine in full sovereignty to England. However if Henry V had lived for 7 more weeks he would have been crowned king of France so Englands objective would have been complete.

actually, england could never have won the war. even after the early battle of crecy, (which the english won), it became clear that england didnt have the resources to take all of france.

i think there's no way to finish this conflict except a medieval tournament :D, with competitions on melee, ranged and mounted combat

@AllezIstres France won the war, sadly it was a Pyrrhic victory, but stil, England achieved good results agains a big kingdom like France, i think the might of the english is the strategy and that of the french is the spirit :D
