  • terrible high school name, awesome rendition of a beautiful song!

  • Damn looks like my High School I jus tgraduated from, and this is my leaving song from Wyandotte High School

  • WTF is a University High School lol. That has to be the strpederistest name for a school.

  • @peterSclarke no its made by Annie Lennox, Howard Shore and Fran Walsh

  • It's by Howard Shore, not Annie Lennox. She just performed this song, you might as well say that it's by this choir.

  • @freacls All the same, this song is about things being finished. About things coming to an end, a close, a final chapter. Aren't high school graduations supposed to be about looking to the future, unless you failed and had to repeat a year?

  • @GaladedridDamodred well it was like Frodo dying in a way for his friends Marry and pippin they never went over to the undying lands Sam did so hed see Frodo again but for Merry and Pippin they would never see him again so thats where its sad

  • @freacls I know perfectly well where it is from. Why was the scene sad? Bittersweet perhaps, but Frodo and Bilbo were going to live out their days in the bliss of Valinor, while Gandalf and the Elves were going home after thousands of years in Middle-earth, which had been saved from destruction. I was just commenting on how odd it is to use a song about dying/going to Valinor as a graduation song.

  • thise song is so beautiful it always makes me cry thinking about Frodo leaving his beloved friends

  • @GaladedridDamodred yes it is it was played at the end of LOTR when Frodo was sailing to the undying lands and saying goodbye tohis friends one of the saddest sceans in the film
