there is no fun in playing such great games when the landscape and the models look like crap. stay with 2000p, the whole gw-stuff after 2005 was meant to generate money.

@DjPixelz the table looks terrible. apart from that. yeah, we have no life.

@Trueflights dude half of your army is proxies, i understand the money part of it, but as far as games with all forge world and gw models go, this is one of the largest out there.

how long did this game take i bet it took at least 17+ hours maybe 2 days 8 hours each or so? maybe?

@coldson07 It took all day -- about 12 hours. We didn't play things out to the bitter finish, but to the point where the winner was clear.

dislike apocalypse. Too long to finish the game (my small school club took a day to finish a 10,000pt game, and even then we had only three turns). But great work on the game. who won?

@heatedpete The imperials. The bad guys didn't have enough large Apoc models to handle ours.

It looks like a pretty nice sized game, but I'm not sure about the worlds largest 40k game. We often play 100,000+pts games here. heck, we are playing an 80,000pt game soon that is just my armies vs one of my friends IG Regiment. I plan on doing a battle report of it, so keep an eye out.

The aim is to eventually achieve the "World's Largest" -- that is why the event is called "The World's Largest Apocalypse Game". In the meantime we still use the same title as "We Are Trying to Eventually Have the World's Largest Apocalypse Game" is a lousy name for a gaming event. :-)
