  • Lionel McClellend sings a great version of this ...also recites a wonderful address to the haggis.

  • Jim Malcolm's version is the most heartfelt, in my opinion... these guys are trying, but they're too hard on the rhythm, drums etc, it sounds like a German military match, takes the soul out of it...

  • Great song but who's this guy? Seriously he shouldn't be singing this.

  • Great take

Check out though Sheena Wekkington version at the Parly in 1999, ive just posted today, 25th January, for Rabbies big day.

Amazingly never been on YouTube before today

Help spread the word amongst your contacts please

'a the best - and enjoy your day. I certainly will - just off to Alloway and later Glasgow Cathedral for a memorial sevice live on the web I believe.

My favorite Burns song, and your vesrion is well up there. But Sheena has a bigger backing band!

  • Wits pish? explain

  • if only people would listen to his words

  • Who's the violinist?

  • not really much celtic influence apart from the song not the best I've seen
