What I like to do before Mt. Zublo, thanks to the trauma it brought me as a whelp, is get inoculated with fire resistance for all my characters (I learned this the hard way, but resting will remove the effect), and give the weakest character the Asbestos Armor, and Ryu the Fire Ring. Seriously, fire does like negligible damage with the resistance in place.
And HA, you were wrong too! I didn't tell you about Windstrike! Harbrringerr did! 8D
