Could have done with a bit more froth, but practice will make perfect.
Please excuse my elbow!

  • Did you press the espresso or the lungo button? How much milk did you use and did you use the curled spinning thing (don't know what it is called)?

  • @michernst Hi. I used the espresso button, and used an espresso pod rather than a lungo pod.

I filled the Aeroccino up with milk to the Latte level indicator, and used the curled spinning thing :-)

  • how do you make it make cold froth?

  • @dahercool If you hold down the button on the aeroccino for a few seconds, it turns blue, indicating it will now make cold froth.

Hi. I have only ever tried semi skimmed, so will give full a try as you suggest :-)

    Thanks

  • @mjakes20 nothing froths like full cream. though they all froth , depending on time of year the milk varies.... as when cows eat dry food it doesn't froth as much.. when they eat green grass it froths heaps.

this coffee machine is awesome .. but the inner barista in me doesn't like the uniformity lol ..but it is lovely having capuchino within a minute early in the morning.

  • @mjakes20 Thanks for the feedback.

I always assumed that frothing with semi skimmed was the norm.

Have you tried making a latte with the machine yet?

  • We got nespresso machine last year with a frother, and we really like it. It makes for really good coffee's, and can also add to any other beverage you like. But the froth, but itself, does have a strange taste seeing as it only becomes very frothy with semi skimmed milk. But other than that I love nespresso.

  • @5hanes Pretty much. The aeroccino thing is kinda cool, I have watched the reviews on SeattleCoffeeGear's youtube channel. It's a different category of milk frothing though. I have a similar device, an aerolatte, which I got when I learning. Aeroccino will make really frothy poofy milk, or hot milk from what I've seen. A good start, but it's not the same as steamed milk which is hard to master (took me months!), but it amazing. Steamed milk looks like wet paint, very thick, no big bubbles.

  • I have to approve comments before they appear.

I have surprised myself for approving the comments that slate my machine, even if perhaps that wasn’t your main intention.

Thank god my friends (who keep coming back for more) and myself, enjoy the coffee produced despite it not being up to the elitists standards.

I was going to ask you what your thoughts are on the froth produced (I love it), but asking your opinion on anything Nespresso related would be like begging you to rain on my parade.
