Around 85 drawings were made for this. I keep every single piece of paper for doodles like this.

Never See the Sea is Sheppard's lovesong to London. It's true, I heard her say it once on the radio!

Alex once called me an "obsessive fan!", I was so proud!

I have yet to see Alex live :( i really need to!

This song is based around a true story when Alex got to play a gig with Carl Barat from Dirty Pretty Things. Carl was doing a DJ set in London and Alex was asked to play that night. Carl liked her song and they hung out and played Kinks covers, Alex got dropped off with a friend early that morning and began walking back to her uni dorm. Her friend suggested to her she should "take this moment and write a song about it"...this was the outcome!
