This album is so much better than the last two from Tristania, still not their best. Good songs but others are not that good. Mariangela is a great replacement. Vibeke an Morten were awesome but they are gone, get over it.

Personally, i actually like this more the their previous stuff (which was still pretty epic), i just like the more orchetral/opera/symphonic elements. they sort of remind me of sirenia mixed with kamelot now haha. TRISTANIA IS TRISTANIA, no matter what genre =)

They lost that supreme Gothic sound, but I really liked "Rubicon." So they've changed, but at least it's nice to know they haven't sold out or lost their originality. Besides, maybe they want to break away from that 'Gothic metal' veneer.

I must agree with the last 2posts.... I mean, still I can't say they are bad, but the are far from producing sublime breathtaking masterpieces as the old "widow's weeds" and "beyond the veil" albums :(

Since Vibeke is gone the band has totally gone to waste...
I`ll keep listening to their old masterpieces and let the new for who ever wants to listen this crap

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You act like if Stene was kicked out or like if she died or something and was replaced by someone you think is not a good match. Of course Mary isn't gonna sound like Stene, because she's Mary! If you don't like the new music, then don't listen to it! Don't buy it, don't search for it, don't even post comments! Tristania isn't gonna kik her out just so you can be happy. If they chose her it was for a reason. It was Tristania's decision to hire her.
