Hi, thank you for asking, no, it is not possible to donate a heart while we are still alive, we can't live without one. Therefore heart is usually donated by someone who has passed away. It is however still possible to donate a portion of lungs while we are still alive, some countries have done it like Japan but it is still considered new and more evidence and expertise is needed to perform lungs transplantation from living persons.

Therefore, in most countries as a living person, we can only donate kidney or a portion of liver while we are still alive.
