  • isn't valentini puffer not reef safe???

  • They will attack sea urchins by biting their spines off, they also like to eat turbo snails.

However they very rarely attack you corals and this is usually because they are under feed.

Other puffers with large beaks tend to be more destructive, we've never had a problems.

Thanks for your comment and interest.

  • Great video

  • oh i see thanks

  • lol i have a humu in with softies and LPS and it hasn't touched a thing :)

  • This is very true of marine fish, they seem to have different personalities.

I had a lemon peel and was told that it would eat coral, but it never did.

  • nice tank!

  • :D i have one and mine is reef safe. doesnt touch coral and ignores every other fish. mine is very docile...

  • They don't go for snails unles they fall off the glass/rocks and have trouble righting themselves. However they do lke to eat fish eggs if you have some and they do like to pick the spines off the urchins, they try to get to the fleshy body but can't. Very funny to watch.!
