Many voters question Obama's authenticity and beliefs, both religious and political, and how the two intertwine. According to Steven Mansfield, the author of the new book The Faith of Barack Obama, Barack is "raising the banner of what he hopes will be the faith-based politics of a new generation . . . and he will carry that banner to whatever heights of power his God and the American people allow." This video, hosted by Mansfield, provides clips of a few public speeches Barack has made related to his faith. a lot of blacks keep going on about how the white man is oppressing them when they themselves dont wanna work, wanna sit at home all day and drink and listen to lil wayne and get all full of rage toward anyone that isnt black which is racism. i dont have a problem with black people, i have a problem with people that wont take care of themselves and have a pitty party on how there was slavery 150 years ago and they have every opportunity whites have to go to school and get a job, they just refuse

@theeasybeats Even though there are problems with liberation theology, the gospel of salvation , and the social justice or biblical good works by church's ,individuals,or private persons cannot be seperated.Sometimes God will use even government to do his love for the poor if his people will not. This is a false division.By the way ,C.S Lewis did favor "distributivism".which comes out of Catholic social teaching.Example on youtube:The Mondragon Experiment.

Wright and Obama both believe that no one is saved until all are saved, I have heard them say it, this is the Socialist Gospel, they believe that it is the Government's job to distribute wealth and when all are equal then all are saved, this is the Harvey Cox Secular City doctrine, this is C S Lewis' That Hideous Strength doctrine, if you don't believe they have said these things the videos are on this site

barack is probably atheist, or maybe has sympathy for christianity.
He MAY be christian. there is a lot of chance. But we don't know yet.
He is NOT a muslim, never was, never will be.

@ShelleyDanes You're a hypocrite. You know, isn't one of the many attributes of Christianity a concept of being tolerant towards other beliefs to a certain extent and especially not blatantly attacking them? I thought Jesus was supposed to have been pretty big on the whole 'love' thing, but you know, I may be wrong.

@baxtalorom the original founding fathers were religious making a great nation... but then came idiots without religion. killing indians and mexicans. religious people have more character, passion, and trust in a real God.

Religious people shouldn't be allowed to become politicians. Religion is a mental illness. How scary it is to live in a world where rulers have imaginary friends. But what can you expect in a country where even on the currency is printed "In God We Trust"? We are living in a big mental institution.
