Basingstoke Aquadrome - Swimming pool

Basingstoke Aquadrome is the swimming pool at Basingstoke which has three flumes. One of which is a space bowl, and the other two are rubber ring flumes. The master blaster, which is the blue rubber ring slide also has upwards ramps powerded by jets of water which the other rubber ring slide (yellow) does not have.

This swimming pool is seriously falling in standards, with it becoming ever more dirty, broken tiles in the pool and on the side and a LOT of flume closures. Now it is very unreliable and even if you phone the centre and ask if the flumes are all open they quite often lie. I have done this in the past and been told that they all open, only to arrive and be told by a different member of staff that the yellow slide is the only slide working and has been all day.
It is a shame that they have let the pool fall to this standard because it really was once an amazing day out!

it is now rubbish they need to re do it i cut my toes open with a tile that had smashed on bottom of rapids love master blaster and space bowl yellow boring!

@lucylou202 I agree with you! They really have let their standards fall, a number of previous times I went at least one of the flumes has been closed and quite often two!

I think they do need to improve otherwise the pool will soon become unpopular in my opinion. As for cut toes I have cut my toe there before, and have you seen how much blood there is on the flume stairs???

Its a shame because it used to be fantastic
