Excuses???? look here, this is international rules, NOT afl!!!! when these players agree to play this series, they agree to the RULES of this series, annd they are not playing under the afl rules anymore, so most of their tackles are illegal. Maybe theyr just pissed at being beat my a bunch of amateurs, from a country that has only 6 million people, and they have 21 million people.

afl also used to be a part time sport for a long time. but that did not deter many of them becoming phyisically intimidating. it is becuase the irish sport is no contact is a piss weak sport and afl is the best thing since sliced bread. and ali74 why are u commenting ur english??

And your excuse about your players playing in tehre own series which is so important does not wash, our AFL series is professional, now tell me which means more?. So you dont pick your best team, HELLO, our players are pro's, there even less likely to play and risk injury, once again all i am hearing is baseless irish crying, play football or go away, aussies arnt interested in sooks.

Listen up you irish followers, as far as excuses go for not being professionals, we are using a round ball, if we used an oval shaped ball the irish would only have a few scores in total, and that for the whole series. So sick of irish excuses and complaints about rough play (only when they lose).
