This is a simple comparison of the MacBook Air and the Dell Mini 9. The Dell is a 1.6 GHz Atom CPU with a 16GB SSD and 1GB RAM. The MacBook Air has a 1.6 GHz Core2Duo with 80GB HDD and 2GB RAM. They are both running Leopard and are completely set up for use. These are not fresh installation boot times.

  • @fiveryanfrenzy More like ~$1k vs ~$400.

  • haha Dell mini 9 WINS!!

  • why would you compare an HDD for to an SSD, that makes no sense

  • somthing is messed up with your mac book air mine turns on in just less than 15 seconds

  • This particular Macbook Air does not have SSD. If it did, it would be as quick as the Dell Mini 9.

  • @CampKillYourself5432

  • Mac rools

  • @TheTechAnimal The MacBook Air has built in flash memory, which is supposedly faster than SSD.
