There is something very uplifting when large groups get together to sing- religious or not.

@mamainmancj Dude. This is not a religious forum, and it is NOT appropriate for you to be bashing the Mormon denomination on one of their completely harmless videos. Not cool. (Besides, this isn't even a "Mormon" song. It's just a song describing the power and wonder of GOD. The exact same God that you supposedly worship.) If you want to discuss whether or not they are "actually Christians", go take it up with your priest or whomever. But don't make rude comments on their videos. Thank you.

To all those who attempt to define my Christianity for me, might I challenge you to identify who Christ is, and then work on living the teachings he gave. When you do that, honestly, you will recognize the Christians around you. As it is, those who go around saying one or another group of faithful people are not Christian simply because you refuse to accept their belief in Christ as they proclaim it, are making hypocrites of themselves.
The purpose of this choir is to inspire faith in Christ,

This was a rehearsal of the Former Mormon Youth Chorus & Symphony. There was a reunion in the summer of 2010. That Chorus and Orchestra was organized in 1969 and it was disbanded in 1999 to give way to the Temple Square Chorale (training chorus for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) and the Orchestra at Temple Square. During their 30 year history the group recorded dozens of Albums and gave hundreds of concerts. I was a member of the Chorus in 1997. Great musical youth organization. Congratulations!!
