Billy Dean & Dawn are one of the most versatile musical groups today. They can easily perform the high energy nightclub dance music, as well as the laid back jazz standards preferred at many of Southwest Florida's prominent country clubs, and then turn around and mesmerize crowds with their Broadway and classical repertoire.

Audiences find Dawn's ability to blend her classical training (graduate studies in voice at the Cincinnati - College Conservatory Of Music) and popular style, impressive to say the least. With her 3 octave range, she makes it possible to emulate artists like Sarah Brightman, Linda Eder, and Karen Carpenter to Mariah Carey and Cher.

Although Billy is the more reserved half of the duo, his talent is certainly not. His piano playing, keyboard arrangements, saxophone solos and vocal ability provide the perfect combination of artistry.

Billy and Dawn met in 1991 at Caesars Pocono Resorts where Billy was the musical director. Their musical and personal chemistry led them to marriage in 1993. From the time of their meeting, they performed at the Mall Of America (Bloomington, MN), the Grand Geneva Resort And Spa (Lake Geneva, WI - 4 seasons), and were the house band at the prestigious Coeur D'Alene Resort in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. They also had the honor of opening The Club at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, FL in November 1997.

They now permanently reside in Southwest Florida, and in season perform at the majority of the country clubs in the area. Off season, they like to travel. In the summer of 2000 they performed at The Luxor and Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, NV, then boarded the Disney "Magic" cruise ship, to finish out the summer.

This summer we just returned from the trip of a lifetime performing in Monaco for the International Seakeeper's Society.

Both Billy and Dawn are over six feet tall, and avid golfers!
