This is the most beautiful song. God, I want a love to last this long. I hear three years, and I think to myself "Wow, I'm 19... Where is my long-lasting relationship full of endless love?" Then I remember to stay patient, because everyone has their time. I just hope mine is now, for once. That what I'm believing in is finally true. I'm only human, but I swear I can be the love she's always waited for.

@yaboidebby I wasn't particularly distraught; I just like writing with a mean tone on the internet. What I was meaning to say is that there could be a good argument for the songwriter's self-awareness. Meaning, he feels so strongly for the girl that even as a pretentious punk type, she makes him want to say and do all of these tired clichés etc etc. Again: I don't like this song and the acoustic sound in general, but I understand firsthand where he's coming from. Apologies anyway.
