@ARBuilder1776 Why so doubtful? Have you thought of all the jobs such a mission to mars would create? The commercial opportunities? The cultural shock of a mars mission wouldn't only save America's economy, it would contribute greatly towards resuscitating the world, and inspiring our children to aim higher. And god knows they need that.

So before you resign on your planet, think of how our grandparents were able to go to the moon, while you just sit back and say "whatever".
