Place 4 red cubes and 4 green cubes in any pattern. Then swap the positions of the red and green in the least number of steps. This video, curtsey of Lucas Garron, shows one such swap. You can use this (or any other 'diagonal swap' ) pattern only if you can beat this solution, namely, solve a 'diagonal swap' with less than 40 steps. All other patterns are available. First 3 different patterns with 40 or less step solutions win Cmetrick Classic and elogIQ T-Shirt! To win, you must post your solution by July 31, 2007.
this one is really hard, i almost dont understand it.

You hav to place 4 green cubes anywhere, and 4 red cubes anywhere (the animation shows one such pattern). Then you have to swap the cubes so green move to red spots, and red move to green. In the animation, you see a diagonal position. Then we swap the red and green in 40 moves. You should be able to find a different pattern and swap red and green in less than 40 or less steps.

that is harder then the first one!

Not that hard though. It may be hard to beat the 'diagonal swap', but try other patterns. There are many that require less than 40 to swap.
