This isn't about doctrinal beliefs I dont think. It is a legitimate bible question. Many women feel like they can't even share the gospel because they consider it preaching.

I agree.And I see this command as atremendous blessing. The children,the family are perishing.I am Pastor in my own home,as well as I can Pastor women and children along side

my Pastor husband in the Church,If my husband were a Pastor. I see no discusson necessary here. I can minister,evangalize,teach and Preach to women and children .I can write christian books for women and children,I can speak and minister on the family.There is much work fo me.

Does a women teaching BREAK any of Gods Commandments? Not to my knowledge. I wouldn't think it's UN-LAWFUL for a women to teach. However, we should keep this order in mind that man is under god, and woman is under the man (and god).

This being said, man should be the LEADER or HEAD in the church and his house hold. However, this doesnt mean that he's the ONLY teacher.

@AthrunJusticeDestiny The Bible clearly says that women are NOT to preach. Just because Paul made mention of them in regards to preaching does not mean he felt it was okay for them to do so.

No, it is not okay for a woman to teach, or preach. When Paul is writing to Timothy, he is telling him not to let women have authority or preach. 1 Timothy 2:12 Keep in mind this is a pastoral epistle, meaning it is written to pastors in regards on how we are to worship. Outside of worship, women are completely in the right to teach, Acts 18:26. Priscilla was with Aquilla when she was instructing Apollos, but yet, she was instructing. We are all one in Christ, but have different roles. Gal 3:28

@anotheronem -Let us also remember Romans 16:1. Wherein Paul describes Phoebe as a, "deacon"(diakonos in greek). In that same verse he tells church members to, "...assist..." Phoebe. If it were so wrong for women to lead, why wouldn't he tell Phoebe to surrender?

When we read scripture we need to know who is speaking who their speaking to and why their speaking. Paul was never against women speaking or preaching in church except for the case of false doctrine in 1Timothy. Please study people so we don't make false doctrines that hold back the woman of GOD.

Also, I believe we should follow what Paul wrote because although he is not Jesus, every word of scripture is inspired by what? The Holy Spirit. And as we all know, the Holy Spirit cannot lie
