Freddie at the height of his powers. Along with '39 and "Spread your wings" this is one of my favorite Queen songs.

Freddie Mercury.Brian May..Roget Taylor.John Deacon..you lived up to your name...Queen. Freddie chose this name in part cause it was regal..powerful..something absolute..this is Queen.4 men each a musical genius..masters of their craft. I consider myself fortunate.to have seen them live 3 times..they were amazing.from the first cord...to the first note of Freddie's...clear. perfect voice..you were taken on a musical journey.Their music will live on..Freddie.was a gem may he RIP

@birdstuckinchimney My boyfriend, who's a classical musician says that a lot of great rock music derives their chord structure from Classical Music. I think he mentioned Vivaldi, as an example of one from who he could point out specific examples of elements that found their way into rock.

I'll never forget my dad who was a talented classical musician saying to me that he thought that rock music was cheap three chord rubbish. I dared him to listen to Queens 'Night at the Opera' with me (it had just been released) and I remember watching with great satisfaction as the patronising smirk disspeared from his face.
