No one encapsulated the Mod club sound more evocativly than Georgie Fame , and what a b-side ! Is'nt it a shame his sixties sides are so hard to pick up on cd? Why ? Mans my hero ! More so than Marriott.

  • Anybody know if this track exists in stereo? It's the b-side to Getaway, which was recorded in stereo, so one would imagine that this was recorded at the same sessions, and that there would be a stereo edition. Terrific piece of Hammond blues pop!! Equates to several of Alan Price's b-sides, particularly Iechyd-da, the flip of I Put A Spell On You. If you've not heard that, listen somewhere!!

  • Love Georgie - but he ain't no Wynder K ...

    Actually, he is

    GEORGIE THE MAN !!

    Vamoose, Vamoose

Big love to all the hammond afficianados !!!
