I loved their Gospel. Its been a while. My mom used to play their music all the time. It was soo spiritual. But ever since pops died, they staples just went worldly
I've always loved this song. Pop Staples is pluckin' that guitar. And what can you say about Mavis? She's the girl!! There's also another version by The Taylor Brothers of Leavenworth, Ks. It's a little more uptempo but a good version. Of course I say that because it is my Dad and his brothers. The lead on their version is my Grandpa. Their version was recorded in 1968. I copied it from an old reel-to-reel. But check it out and let me know what you think.

This is a masterpiece. Sweetness of voice, and clarity of rhythm. Perfect as perfect can be. DK
