I guess more and more railfans will have to set up in the v and other locations on NS property. I thought the City of Austell owned that gazebo, guess Nazi Southern has the muscle to get anything they want done.
I was talking to some of the store owners a couple days after they demolished it and they said the mayor didn't put up any fight. There was a rumor that they're going to triple track it from Atlanta to the intermodal facility but I don't see that happening any time soon with the way the economy is.

What did they do with the gazebo and the big tree? Big mistake to remove those. Christmas will suck this year in downtown Austell.

Norfolk Southern took it all down because of "visibility" reasons which is BS.
