I am currently installing it on my Dell Inspiron 1000

installed ideneb 10.5.5, installed successfully and booted to mac, but I can't see anyhting, but there is a welcome music going on, so it seems to me my grpahics card not compatible or something going wrong, it is so frustrating, I can hear welcome music but can't see, My spec: Graphics card: ATI Radeon X1300/x1500 series. Any idea?

i installed ips osx 10.5.6 last week on my dell dimension e520 pc. It installed successfully but when i want to go to mac osx it shows an error, "still waiting for root device". dont know what to do. Now I am gonna download iDeneb 10.5.5 and install ; lets see how it goes. do you have any source where did you downloaded iDeneb 10.5.5?

iDeneb 10.5.5 usually runs more smoothly. I honestly don't remember which source I got it from.
Also, it will always say it installed correctly, the problems come when you go to boot into OS X for the first time after the installation. If you DO run into those problems (99% likely you will..), you need to tweak around installation settings under the "Customize" menu before installing iDeneb. The settings you select depend on the components INSIDE your machine - see link in description for help.

After initial install the computer restarts, once it reboots, I type in -v and it goes straight to the install screen again.
What am I doing wrong? The install comes up as successful?
