U.S. Hikers describe life in Iranian Prison - 20 may 2010

CNN reports 20 May 2010

The mothers of three American hikers detained in Iran met with their children on Thursday, Iran's Press TV reported, airing pictures of the tearful reunion.

Sarah Shourd, 31; Shane Bauer, 27; and Josh Fattal, 27, were detained last July. Their families say the three accidentally strayed across an unmarked border into Iran while on a hiking trip in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Anyone who thinks that these american hostages are being "taken care of" well...is an idiot. 2. regardless of what the US would do - these are people...poeple who do not deserve to be locked up without even being charged for a year! 3. First of let me say that I feel bad for anyone that is put into jail. My question is what would happen if this situation was reversed. What would happen if 3 Iranians crossed over the US border? These are not kids, they are in their late 20s and early 30s. Remember Canadian - Omar Khadr who was captured by American forces at the age of 15. He has spent the last eight years in the Guantanamo Bay without a trial.
