@tdvu there are few different types of card. Mostly it can be only used in Seoul Metropolitan area but some other cards like Credit-Card with a chip can be used in all cities in Korea.

Now, its accepted all over Gyeonggi-Do, which is the province surrounding Seoul. It works on all types of bus and of course subway.

I love this one. I'd like to see more nighttime bus rides from Seoul just like this. perhaps different routes could be shown (and longer segments shown). I would do it myself if I only I lived there(!)
