Make your iPod Touch/iPhone Go faster, TUTORIAL (save more RAM)

Tutorial from me (Sam) on how to conserve and save RAM (random access memory) and make your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad go faster and not freeze up so much. This is especially good if you have an iPod Touch 1g, 2g, 3g 8gb, or iPhone 3g because they have less RAM and slower processors.

@whosebilly Not sure, but I don't think so. Jail breaking is super simple though.

@whosebilly Unfortunately, there's nothing that I know of. But, to get cydia you have to jailbreak your iPod or iPhone. Jailbreaking is very easy to do, free, and there are many tutorials for it on YouTube. Check it out. There's a ton more you can do with a jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone.

For a one-step jailbreak, go to JailbreakMe. :) 3.0 works on devices such as iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch third generation up to iOS 4.3.3. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. iPod Touch first generation, 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. 4.3.4 or later and iOS 5.x are not supported yet... This only supports Mobile Safari. So go on it with your iPhone or iPod.

If you remove sbsettings and use Tapclockinfo, you can still respring, but you will gain 20mb ram. Sbsettings is a ram hog
