Frederick the Great and the Enigma of Prussia is an Aenon & Fresh one Production for BBC. Presented by Professor Christopher Clark.

If you want to know more about the History of Prussia, i recommend to read: "Iron Kingdom. The Rise and Downfall of Prussia."

  • @000000AEA000000 coolllllllllllllllllllllll

  • Es lebe Old Fritz! Es lebe Preußen! Gott segne Deutschland!

  • @mard420 I could sigh loud again under your braisen spiteful tones you spit out. Your comments did not BEAR any humour you idiot, but resembled your personal opinion in your "facts". And all you can do now is calling me a neo-nationalist and implying that germans have no humour. You are not only an Idiot, but also a coward. Fortunately, I am not forced to endure you. So I leave you standing here as a testimony of yet another person who made a fool out of itself.

    Guten Tag.

  • @000000AEA000000 i didn't mean to offend any 21st century neo-nationalist German sensitivities. I sincerely hope that it is clear as glass on crystalnacht (or however its spelt) to everyone and that my inadequacies do not land me in a concentration camp. I do like German beer, classical music, the VW when it doesn't break down and cost a fortune to fix.

P.S. In canada we have something called a sense of humour, so when people make fun of us, we laugh at it.

  • Clark. I love you. You are not one of those anti-german bigots who can't think and are advocates to collective guilt. You are a decend man which I admire. Blessed is thee, who can admire people from other countries, and not add fuel into hatred like some other bigots here.

  • @mard420 PS: Germany was always a land of innovation. Even today we hold the most Patents per year in all of Europe in competition, followed by somewhat of a distance by France.

Innovation is an adjective that bites "repeating the same over and over again".

But as I said... your study of germans (even though you will deserately try to proof the reader otherwise now) is most likely adapted from hollywood movies. So..... I won't waste any time with your inadequaties.

  • @mard420 We finally learned from ww2. Germany would never do such a thing again.

  • Germans just don't learn. My great grandpa was Prussian, moved to Canada in 1875, but man Germans are stubborn, they repeat and repeat, banging their heads against the wall, which as history proves, only really was beneficial in 1989

  • Leuthen is my favorite! xD

  • A really wonderful documentary - thank you!
