Be it low notes..high notes..she excells in a broad range..she can sing in 3 octaves,can hold her breath..u never knw wen she took..can sing 4 stanzas in one breath,can ny one compare her,,,,,the linear most nd straight sur she generates is comparable wid...tanpura..if u guys hav ny knwledge abt music..rather than hip hop...dancy numbers..den argue..otherwise dnt indulge in an unhealthy..debate..keep ur datas clear..

Lataji's voice here is in top form - however the recording of this video has some sound problem no doubt and hence gives the wrong impression of her lack of voice in this rendition - as for Lataji I have heard all singers including the present young lot and including her sister Asha and after listening to Lataji's thousands of songs from the 40's and on I conclude that so far there has not been any female Indian playback singer who has the ability to raise her vocals ( sur ) as Lataji has.
