That may be true, but I just got the Bosch Tassimo model and it's THE quietest single-serve coffee maker I've ever seen. Watch some YouTube videos on the Bosch models. You'll see what I mean.
In the end it's all about personal preference. For me? Tassimo for the win. ;)

No, the pre-made pack are just coffee hermetically sealed for freshness.

i know you asked this question 3 months ago.LOL but,
i believe some do, such as flavored K-CUPS
i had a french vanilla one once. it was sweet enough to not add sugar.(and thats pretty rare for me)HAHA
but, the medium-dark roasts are pretty bitter. i dont believe that those have any sugar.
also, you can get hot chocholate K-CUPS, i believe those also have sugar in them.
so i think that it all comes down to which coffee you get, as to if you need sugar or not.
