This is a video showing the placement of a dental implant in to the posterior maxilla of a patient, which had been grafted six months earlier via a Sinus Augmentation. There is an annotation in the video, showing the graft. Again, this video is rather graphic in nature and is intended primarily for dental professionals.

  • Hi Dr Gougaloff, Just curious as to why only 1 implant was placed on this 1/2 of the edentulous ridge? Also had you considered doing a tuberosity reduction as it seemed there was a lot of unsupported soft tissue in the area. Assuming the patient has worn a complete upper denture against lower natural dentition for yrs they may have combination syndrome. Thanks for your reply!
