i googled your comment in order to understand what you said. Thank God there is google. I think the dropkick goes in order to show that you are more inclined to get accidented if your opponent doesn't care about you. That's when you are in your best effort. If you are not about your best effort, then you put yourself and other who works beside you, to not get good results. That, if you understand wrestling as a collaborating work. Stiff dropkick may be read through as, "be trustable or be gone".

I don't know why so many people think Meiko was bullying the girl with that dropkick. It was a tough lesson and furthermore you could hear it in her voice that she didn't do that out of cruelty. You can hear Meiko is frustrated and also worried that this girl still isn't doing it right although her test draws near. If she didn't care for that girl she wouldn't waste her time with berating her like that. Same for Chigusa who shows much less compassion for her students than Meiko does here.

It must be so stressful for all of them as they not only have to be extremely fit and master all the skills but they have to adhere to the rigorous hierarchy that is in place in this training camp. Even the skilled teacher Satomura is insecure about her own future in wrestling.

Takeuchi is obviously doing her best but it's just not good enough for Satomura and Chigusa who need her to be more skilled and tough or GAEA will lose face if they send an unprepared wrestler. Harsh but necessary.

To be fair, Gail Kim, Natty, and Beth Phoenix are the only ones that can last. Melina MIGHT but I doubt it.
