Imitation is the best form of flattery. Sure, these guys "ripped off" the Mersey sound of The Beatles. But, on the other hand, American artists such as Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and The Everly Bros influenced The Beatles. Early 1960s Rock from either side of the pond just augmented each other. It was all great! A Merry Christmas 2011 to all!

@scotpens Totally, I thought this was John on lead vocal, and I could never figure out why I couldn't find it on any Beatle record.

Definately sounds like something from the Hard Day's Night sessions but blatant rip-off of The Beatles or not it is a really good song! (But then again, who DOESN'T rip off The Beatles???

Omg, when I heard this on the radio, I was like WTH? Is that john!? I never heard this!? And it wasn't but the cat sounds just like him!

Is there anyone who didn't think this was the Beatles when they first heard the song? It's way more than "Beatlesque." It sounded more like the Beatles than the Beatles did.
