It's not the equipment; it's the rider! Though in many cases, the choice of equipment can depict the style of the rider. The vast selection of longboarding gear on the market allows riders to get a feel for what works for them. An exponential evolution of equipment started in the early 2000s when most of the Greener Pastures sponsors began developing their roots in a wider community. These manufacturers started a tidal wave of creation in which the riders guided their direction. The steps to make products lighter, stronger, faster, safer has been seen through the test of time, and riders chose the most reliable products, which simply worked.
