At Stanton Drew Classic Rally near Bristol back in August 1995. This is an experimental upload direct from Picasa 3 which appears to have worked well! The Bond is a restored1964 Mark G Estate with a 250cc Villiers Two stroke twin engine. It gave me lots of fun back then and continues to do so with its present owner!

  • I keep thinking any minute a yellow mini with a black hood is going to come along and cause him to tip.

  • @TestValleyRailway Mr Bean! He made us laugh! In fact the Bond {Unlike its earlier Reliiant cousins) ,was quite stable on the road, feeling more like a boat to drive than a car.

  • This takes me back Mike, a cousin of mine owned one and in the early sixties we travelled from South Wales to London in it. This is before the M4 was built. It took about 12 hours, I had to get out several times whilst he climbed the steepest hills, we free wheeled down hills and when it got dark the headlamps lit the top of trees..ah good old days, ...Thanks....Bob

  • @robmasterman Hi Bob! Wasnt that fun! I think we motorists demand better today, but somewhere along the way, have lost the fun element!

  • The most manouverable car in the world with the smallest turning circle-demonstrating the apparently aimless wanderings of its owner....and less chance of being run over since there is only one wheel at the front!

    A real Bond of friendship!

  • @SingerDriver Hi Al. Nice to hear from the pilot!
