You appear decidedly uncomfortable walking down Camden High Street. You're not that familiar with Camden Town are you? The strength of Camden is that it's incredibly melting pot of arty types, professionals, young people and eccentrics. The Reason to Eat restaurant is very upmarket, yet there's a 99p shop and a Lidl, but also an M&S. The Black Cap pub is a very famous gay bar. Inside Greater London House is media company EMAP.and online clothing company ASOS.

Wholefoods selling "cheap-ish free range style food"? It's mostly full of expensive food beyond the reach of most averagely paid people. I go there most days, but usually buy soup which is good value, but unless you want to pay a lot of money for not very much food, then I'd recommend you go elsewhere. Wholefoods targets higher income brackets (of which I'm one), but don't pretend it's cheap please - it's full of mostly white, middle class, pretentious types who live in bubble.
