Oh and I almost forgot this very neat trick: shake the foodbox.

Most of the time it will cause some bouncing here. :)

Ofcourse the cavies will have to have the assosiation of the shaking sound with the appearance of food.

So first shake the box, then give them the food.

my guinea pigs never popcorn :( not once.

any tips? (they have a proper sized cage and toys, etc... I let them out on the floor (of course with my supervision) every once in a while.

Do they feel at ease when having floortime?

And older guinea pigs do tend to popcorn less than the young ones.

Mine are 3 years old now and are not that active anymore like in the video. But they make crazy jumps occasionally when they're teasting eachother or when there's something new that they like or when they have clean blankets to play with or ofcourse when they hear a plastic bag. :)

My guinea pigs are lazy and usually just sit and eat hay any ideas on exircises? want mine to jump around and run around.

Give them plenty of running space either for living or for floortime.

Then shake a box or bag with food....

There's no music for guinea pigs like the rythm of food.

Works like a charm with my hungry ones. :)

yea did that today, i had a towel roll on the floor and the fattest of mine jumped over it pretty cool :)

but when i went out of the room they tried to go to the door is it because they want to escape :P?

They're so happy!

We have three and one looks like kung fu panda. When he "popcorns", he does what we call a "twisty-buck". He looks so happy like he just can't stand it anymore or contain himself lol:)
