Does it work as as primary display for a macbook ? please advise...

@marianbmw320 It could be used that way I'm sure. It is a standard monitor, just connected via USB. On my MacBook, I was able to select whether it was the primary or the secondary monitor. I opted for secondary. However, I also tried using it as the primary monitor and it worked just fine.

Sorry, missed this. Short answer, no, you can't. It may be possible to play PS3 on it, but not without some serious work-arounds. It's a USB connected device; no typical component / HDMI / even VGA etc. connection.

I'm thinking of getting one of these for a quick second monitor to go for reading specs or pdfs on the side of work. do you think it was clear enough to get all or most of a reasonably sized page of text on it?

@ilordvader Either, it depends on whether or not your laptop provides the full 500mah to the usb Ports
