Water Tender 14's Drive Home

Livermore has been looking for a Water Tender (water truck) to supplement water supplies at events, as well as take on new activities. We found it in Medford, Oregon, where it has been after retiring from Quincy, California Fire Department (apparatus 8131). Still marked from fire service with Quincy, it won't take much before WT14 is ready to take calls in its new home.

As an aside, the CHP is really not cool with one stopping alongside the road near an inspection facility, so move along and wait down the road, eh?

That's funny! I've lived in Quincy for 17 years and remember when that truck was here for sale for a long time not that long ago. In fact someone my dad was working with came kind of close to buying it. Then I remember when it got sold to someone in Oregon. So that's funny to happen to see it on here heading back to California.
