I used to take lessons with Juan in 1999. Had to move back to England from Toronto so unfortunately had to quit. I moved into funk rock and have been in semi successful bands but will always regret not carrying on with flamenco. Juan remains an inspiration and 'the guitar player' stays with me wherever I go. A great teacher and a great man. I wrote ' dirty spaniard' (rocky spanish tune) as an ode to him. '20past4 dirty spaniard' in youtube. Best regards . Jamescole (englishman) 2009.
