@stormexiled They are more expensive because they are better quality and have more features. I used to have a Mac for 10 years and just kept updating it and had absolutely no problems with it. Pc's get viruses all the time, and their anti virus softwares are shit. The only downfall to a Mac is gaming, but all you need to do is get boot camp and you can have all games. Pc's are for low life noobs who spend their life playing video games on their pc's.

@stormexiled ur pretty stupid and ill tell you exactly why, you can pay the "inflated price" but at the end of the day id rather pay 3 grand for a macbook pro which can run windows and OSX, and that way i can play every single game available on the PC platform. however ur paying 1 grand for the same computer EXCEPT i dont get viruses and my life on the mac is HASSLE FREE. so im doing everything u do on ur stupid HP or Dell, except better, with additional features, and better customer support...
