CN Train 418 - Part 1 - Canyon Creek, Alberta - May 2009

CN 418 - Canyon Creek, Alberta, with the CN 5379 (SD-40) in the lead.. Eastbound on CN's Slave Lake Sub... 12,500 ton train with 2 SD-40's (CN 5276) and a GP-40 (CN 9527)... spent lots of time in Throttle 8.... Beautiful stretch of track along Lesser Slave Lake.. passing by some million dollar homes and cottages... Around 3 minutes and 45 seconds the RTC calls looking for an O/S ... It was early morning and the sun was rising...
