do you think its good playable with high textures if you decrease the effect level and the terrain decoration on high by a resolution of 1440x900?

I think it is, yes. When you leave the textures and mesh quality on low it's very playable.

@Ghostounet43 No can do. The 9800GTX+ died and has been replaced by a MSI GTX460 hawk talon attack über card.
Oman was not very playable tho.

Is BF3 playable? I tried the beta but it crashed every 2 minute or so.
How does it run on wider or external maps?

It's heavy duty under external maps. Not recommended. It isn't unplayable, but it lacks experience.
Maps from vanilla run fine, but maps from B2K are tougher. Haven't been able to test that.
