See Woky's Gregory Jon introduce the 60's band The Skunks this summer at Waukesha Taste of Summer in Waukesha, WI
See why The Skunks has been one of Milwaukee's favorite bands since the mid 60's. See them play their 1967 regional hit I recommend her, on Teen Town records in 1967.
Watch original founder and leader Larry Lynne and the band perform this great hit.

  • Missing Randy Klien. He was my favorite Skunk. Great to to see you still playing Larry.

  • Still lookin' good Larry!

  • Hey, We listened to the Skunks and Dancy and Duchrow up in green Bay too! Some of the old CYO dances in the 60's... Can any body post some of their old 45rpm's? "Little by Little" and "I recommend Her"? Thanks.

  • Hi 68enxy, Absolutely agree MORE SKUNKS! It was a dismal day last summer when WOKY changed their foremat. I'm from FDL also. I was at a rummage sale @ the fairgrounds and someone was selling CD's that had THE SKUNKS and TONYS TYGERS! Priceless.. Rock on

  • skunks stink...

  • Hey Larry, remember a few years back the little deal with Chuck Berry at the Riverside? He stunk, you guys were right on, and Teddy should have punched his sorry ass out.

  • Ah yes, Larry Lynne...The Bonnevilles, The Skunks, Free Meal, The Larry Lynne Group...my cousin Teddy was Larry's drummer for many years. For a brief time they practiced in my parents basement...I'll never forget Larry and his Paisley Telecaster, tuning up each individual string be ear, very impressive. My favorite Larry Lynne tune, "Back On The Street Again". Great tune. Tell Larry that Teddy's cousin Pudgy says "Hello". Rock on LL.

  • I just heard "I Need No One", the flip side of this single, on an Itunes streaming radio site ("Technicolor web of sound," specializing in both familiar and obscure songs from the psychedelic era, approx. '65-'72). So I googled them and discovered they'd only released one single. This was 2007? They sounded great!!
