US worried intercepted stealth drone will aid Iran

US officials have acknowledged that the military lost control of one of its stealth drones while it was flying a mission over western Afghanistan.

Iran's official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday that Iran's armed forces had shot down the RQ-170, known as the Sentinel, and are now in possession of it.

US officials rejected that claim, saying there were no indications the plane was shot down. In either case, officials said this would be the first Sentinel lost by the US.

@AmericanFirePower396 The only interesting tecnology is the stealth paint, no one need help to make an engine or a camera or a guidance sistem, they exist since first world war. However no one wants to engage combat with america, they just want to scare you beacause the fear of invasion. Usa invaded so many countries that now is considered an enemy by anibody. Try to see it with their eyes. The world will ner be better if anybody care only about his opinion.

I have a feeling our military will be assuring this never happens again. Although Iran would most likely need a couple decades to build such technology, selling it to china may pose a future threat in the coming years. China's manufacturing capabilities combined with American technology? can you imagine 50,000 of these things flying onto US soil? Our Government would be wise to install self destruction charges, triggered in the event of any UAV dropping below a certain altitude during a mission.
