This is a test flight we made in the C-123 Provider out in Washington State about four years ago.

I've read that the C-123 was initially going to have paird jets on pylons B-47/52 style (there is a photo around of such an example), and that its' ideology stemed from a line of towable glider transport designs.

find and read "flying through midnight" by john halliday. you will be amazed at the answer. would you believe all that and evasive action too?

As I recall (hope its not a senior moment) its all one fuel system on the 123. And yes it is!

Do the jets run on avgas or do they have their own stash of Jet-A? How do they start? Are they used for cruise, or just t/o and landing?
