  • Awesome again mate, keepthe vids coming mate. iv'e missed your vids where you been lol

  • @markybyeah

    Cheers marky :-)

been messing with that MZ mainly,

not done much riding as it's done nowt but rain and blow a gale over here :-(

sort o depressin like, but the sun's out now, so I'm off to test for leaks!!

  • Nice job there John. hey ill bet you got a little inspired perhaps with the Metisse Triumphs at the scramble. can i count you in for the next Dakar 2012? ; )

  • @mac163

    Hi mac :-) thank you!

the scramble was a great weekend, as you say quite inspiring

as for the Dakar I better fit an air filter first, a really big one eh!

  • Hi J Nice neat installation If it doesn't cool with the airflow the extra quart or so of oil circulating around the motor will help keep the plot happy on longer runs. Are you finished running in the motor yet after the big rebuild? It sounded a bit like it on your short run. Cheers Mate Dave

  • @notwocdivad

Hi Dave :-) thanks! it sticks out a bit so I reckon it'll work and as you say the extra oil will help.

I have got about 400 mile on it upto now so 4000rpm is good for me,

I'll get another 2-300 mile on it this weekend if all goes well.

The ride bit at the end of vid was a bit of a run before! I did the rebuild, I just thought I would use up the time.

  • I have my oil cooler from the 80's in a box in the garage. You've reminded me to put it back on (extra oil). Nice job. You've got the upgrade pump which will help moving the oil. I'm still using the stock. I've just started my break-in (waited until weather cooled). Thanks for the help. Thanks for bringing me on the ride past Buttertubs. Scary bump there near the end but we held on like a champs! Cheers.
